This bulletin is being issued to revise the steps in the diagnostic table DTC C1286 (without RPO JL4). This change is to add Step 4 to diagnose the steering wheel position sensor first, before going on to replace the Electronic Brake Control Module In Step 5. This added step will help reduce the replacement of the Electronic Brake Control Module and diagnose the steering wheel position sensor first.











Please use the following to replace the existing information in the ABS/Traction Control sub-section of the Service Manual.
