Cigarette Lighter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the console.
2. Remove the I/P accessory trim plate.
3. Remove the cigar lighter from the cigar lighter housing.
4. Unscrew to remove the cigar lighter retainer from the cigar lighter housing.
5. Remove the cigar lighter housing from the I/P accessory trim plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the cigar lighter housing to the I/P accessory trim plate.
2. Install the cigar lighter retainer onto the cigar lighter housing.

Tighten
Tighten the cigar lighter retainer to 2.8 N.m (25 lb in).

3. Install the cigar lighter to the cigar lighter housing.
4. Install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory. Service and Repair
5. Install the console.
