Cylinder Head Replacement - Right

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the coolant system.
3. Remove the valve rocker arm cover.
4. Remove the RH exhaust manifold from the cylinder head.
5. Remove the intake manifold.
6. Remove the vapor vent pipe from the engine.
7. Remove the RH cylinder head from the engine.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the cylinder head to the engine.
2. Install the exhaust manifold.
3. Install the valve rocker arm cover.
4. Install the vapor vent pipe to the engine.
5. Install the intake manifold.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

6. Connect the negative battery cable.
- Tighten the bolt to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
7. Fill the cooling system.
8. Program the Transmitters.
9. Inspect for any leaks.
