Engine Valley Cover: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the intake manifold.
3. Remove the vapor vent pipe.
4. Remove the engine valley cover.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the engine valley cover.
2. Install the vapor vent pipe.
3. Install the intake manifold.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Connect the negative battery cable.
- Tighten the negative battery cable bolt to 15 Nm (111 ft. lbs.).
5. Program the Transmitters.
