Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the lid completely from the washer solvent container.
2. Raise the vehicle.
3. Remove the LF wheel.
4. Remove the left front headlight.
5. Remove the splash shield.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the washer pump.
7. Disconnect the hose from the washer pump.




8. Remove the three screws, the washer solvent container and the air induction assembly from the vehicle.
9. Remove the two retainers and the air induction assembly from the washer solvent container.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air induction assembly and the two retainers onto the washer solvent container.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the washer solvent container and the air induction assembly with the three screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (88 lb in).




3. Connect the hose to the washer pump.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the washer pump.
5. Install the splash shield.
6. Install the left front headlight.
7. Install the LF wheel.
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Install the lid on the container.
