Pulley Removal and Installation

- Tools Required
- J25034-C Power Steering Pulley Remover
- J25033-C Power Steering Pump Pulley Installer

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the drive belt from the power steering pump. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement in Engine.
2. Remove the power steering pump from the engine. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement.





3. Remove the pulley from the power steering pump using the J25034-C.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the pulley to the power steering pump using the J25033-C.
Ensure that the face of the pulley is flush with the pump drive shaft.
2. Install the power steering pump to the engine. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement.
3. Install the drive belt on the power steering pump. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement in Engine.
4. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding Power Steering System in Service and Repair of Steering.
