Power Output Diagnostic Mode

Use he power output diagnostic module in the multi-function alarm module in order to run a quick test on the operation of the following component outputs:
^ The parasitic power control
^ The courtesy lamps control
^ the inadvertent power control

The power output diagnostic module activates after you have performed all of the following actions:
1. Close all of the doors.
2. Set the park brake.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position. Before 15 seconds pass, perform the following steps:
^ Open the right front door.
^ Cycle the headlamp switch from OFF to PARK 3 times.

During normal operations, the multi-function alarm module will flash the interior lamps until the ignition switch is turned to OFF. In the event of an internal short in the multi-function alarm module, the module will chime at the following rates:
^ One chime every 3 seconds indicates an inadvertent output failure.
^ Two chimes every 3 seconds indicate a courtesy output failure.
^ Three chimes every 3 seconds indicate a parasitic output failure.
