Air Door Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The temperature control cable is attached to the right of the HVAC module heater case.
1. Remove the right sound insulator panel.
2. Disconnect the cable from the module.
3. Remove the accessory trim plate.
4. Remove the heater and A/C control (1). Pull the heater and A/C control rearward.
5. Disconnect the cable from the heater and A/C control (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
The temperature control cable is attached to the right of the HVAC module heater case.
1. Connect the cable to the heater and A/C control (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the heater control (1) to the instrument panel.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (15 lb in).

3. Install the accessory trim plate.
4. Connect the cable to the module.
5. Install the right sound insulator panel.
