Engine Mount Strut Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lift Points.
3. Remove the right splash shield.
4. Remove the engine mount strut bolts.
5. Remove the engine mount strut.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the engine mount strut and the bolts.
^ Tighten the bolts to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.) + 90°.
2. Install the right splash shield.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
^ Tighten the bolts to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
