Burnishing Pads and Rotors

After you replace the brake pads and/or refinish the rotors burnish the new braking surface. Make 20 stops at the speed of 30 mph in order to burnish new braking surfaces. Use firm pedal pressure and stop at least every 15 seconds. Do not over heat the brakes.
