Weatherstrip Replacement - Auxiliary

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Use a flat-bladed screwdriver in order to disengage the push-pin clips (1).




2. Remove the bolts (3) from the auxiliary weatherstrip retainer.
3. Remove the auxiliary weatherstrip retainer (1).




4. Pull the auxiliary weatherstrip (1, 2) free of the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the auxiliary weatherstrip retainer.
Firmly press the unit in place.
2. Install the auxiliary weatherstrip retainer (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the bolts (3) to the auxiliary weatherstrip retainer.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts (3) to 2 N.m (13 lb in).




4. Engage the push-pin clips (1).
