Insert the disc into the slot while the radio assembly is on. Ensure that the label side is up. The following events will occur:
- The CD player will pull the disc in.
- CD will appear on the display.
- Track 1 will begin to play.

If the disc ejects and the ERR message displays, verify that the following conditions do not exist:
- The disc is upside down.
- The disc has one of the following flaws:
- Dirt
- Scratches
- Moisture
- There is too much moisture in the air.
- The temperature is at one of the following extremes:
- Too hot
- Too cold
