Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Oil Pressure / Fuel Pump Switch:

Removal Procedure
1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the electrical connector.
3. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor (1).

Installation Procedure
1. Coat the threads with the sealer P/N 9985253 or the equivalent.
2. Install the engine oil pressure indicator sensor (1)

Tighten
^ Tighten the engine oil pressure indicator switch to 12.5 Nm (9 lb. ft).

3. Install the electrical connector.
