Generator Splash Shield

Generator Splash Shield At Transaxle 3.4 Liter DOHC LQ1:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
2. Right wheel.
3. Right engine splash shield.
4. Right ball joint nut and separate control arm.
5. Right outer tie rod.
6. Right side drive axle from transaxle and position aside.
7. Generator splash shield to transaxle bolts/screws.
8. Generator splash shield.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Generator splash shield.
2. Generator splash shield to transaxle bolts/screws.
Tighten
^ Bolts/screws to 10 N.m (89 lb. in.).
3. Right side drive axle to transaxle.
4. Right outer tie rod.
5. Right control arm and ball joint.
6. Right engine splash shield.
7. Right tire and wheel.
8. Lower vehicle.
