The 4T65-E has an oil pump assembly that has selective rotor, vane and slide components. These components are chosen based on pump body dimensions. Oil pump body, rotor, vane and slide components are available in four size classifications (1, 2, 3 and 4) with the following tolerances:

ROTOR SELECTION
17.953 - 17.963 mm (.7068 - .7072 in)
17.963 - 17.973 mm (.7072 - .7076 in)
17.973 - 17.983 mm (.7076 - .7080 in)
17.983 - 17.993 mm (.7080 - .7084 in)



SLIDE SELECTION
17.957 - 17.967 mm (.7070 - .7074 in)
17.967 - 17.977 mm (.7074 - .7078 in)
17.977 - 17.987 mm (.7078 - .7081 in)
17.987 - 17.997 mm (.7081 - .7085 in)


VANE SELECTION
17.943 - 17.961 mm (.7064 - .7071 in)
17.961 - 17.979 mm (.7071 - .7078 in)



OIL PUMP BODY DEPTH
18.000 - 18.010 mm (.7087 - .7091 in)
18.010 - 18.020 mm (.7091 - .7094 in)

Rotor, vanes and slide must be chosen in the same size classification to match the oil pump body. Allowable rotor, vane and slide end play to the oil pump body are as follows:
