Wiper Motor Crank Arm Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Wiper Motor Crank Arm Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the wiper motor module from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the wiper transmission linkage from the crank arm.

Wiper Motor Crank Arm Replacement: Removal Procedure:

3. Remove the torx screw from the crank arm and wiper motor.
4. Remove the crank arm from the wiper motor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Wiper Motor Crank Arm Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the crank arm onto the wiper motor.
2. Position the park latch 4-5 mm from the park tab.

3. Install the torx screw into the crank arm and the wiper motor

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in General Information.

Tighten
Tighten the crank arm mounting screw to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

4. Connect the wiper transmission onto the crank arm.
5. Install the wiper motor module into the vehicle.
