Removal Procedures


CAUTION: Replace belts, retractors, and hardware in use during all but a minor collision. Also, restraint systems should be replaced and anchorage's properly repaired if they were in areas damaged by collision, whether the belt was in use or not. If there is any question, replace the belt system. Damage, whether visible or not, could result in serious personal injury in the event of an accident.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the roof bow center interior trim panel.
2. Uncover the upper guide bolt by pushing up at the belt edge of the cover and flipping up the cover.





3. Remove the upper guide bolt.





4. Remove the rear compartment side trim panel from the roof bow.





5. Remove the side sill trim plate.





6. Remove the lock pillar trim panel.





7. Remove the bolt, mounting the upper retractor.
8. Remove the bolt, mounting the lower retractor.
9. Remove the retractor side of the seat belt.
