Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDUREHeadlamp Bulb Replacement: Removal Procedure:
1. Open the hood.
2. Raise the headlamp manually. Turn the headlamp motor/actuator manual control knob counter clockwise.
3. Disconnect the headlamp wiring harness electrical connector from the forward lamp wiring harness.
Headlamp Bulb Replacement: Removal Procedure:
4. Remove the headlamp bezel.
5. Place your arm through the opening between the headlamp assembly and the frame rail to access the headlamp bulb.
6. Twist and remove the appropriate bulb from the headlamp capsule.
7. Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Headlamp Bulb Replacement: Installation Procedure:
1. Install the headlamp bulb to the headlamp capsule.
2. Connect the electrical connector to bulb.
3. Install the headlamp bezel.
Headlamp Bulb Replacement: Installation Procedure:
4. Lower the headlamp manually. Turn the headlamp motor/actuator manual control knob clockwise.
5. Connect the headlamp wiring harness electrical connector to the forward lamp wiring harness.
6. Close the hood.
7. Check the headlamp aim.
