REMOVAL PROCEDURE

High Mounted Stoplamp Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the preferred inner taillamp.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the stoplamp.

High Mounted Stoplamp Replacement: Removal Procedure:

3. Remove the screws retaining the stoplamp to the rear fascia.
4. Remove the stoplamp from the vehicle through the inboard taillamp opening.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

High Mounted Stoplamp Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the high-mounted stoplamp into position inside the rear fascia (insert the stoplamp through the rear taillamp opening).
2. Loosely install the stoplamp mounting screws.
3. Align the stoplamp to the rear fascia, then press and hold the lamp firmly to the rear fascia for flushness.

Tighten
Tighten the high-mounted stoplamp retaining screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

4. Connect the electrical connector to the stoplamp.
5. Install the inner taillamp.
