Support Replacement

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.





2. Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector.
3. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure sensor connector.





4. Remove the fuel regulator purge line from the air intake duct.
5. Remove the air intake duct/cleaner assembly.

NOTE: Note the position of the upper radiator support in relationship to the fan shroud assembly. This must be reassembled correctly in order to retain the fan shroud assembly.





6. Remove the radiator upper support bolts.
7. Remove the radiator upper support.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the radiator upper support.





2. Install the radiator upper support bolts. Tighten the radiator upper support bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).

NOTE: Seat air intake duct/cleaner assembly retaining grommets fully. If necessary moisten grommets with water before installation.





3. Install the air intake duct/cleaner assembly.
4. Install the fuel regulator purge line to the air intake duct.





5. Connect the manifold absolute pressure sensor connector.
6. Connect the intake air temperature sensor connector.
7. Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten the negative battery cable bolt to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
