Parking Brake Shoe: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the brake rotor.





2. Rotate the parking brake adjusting nut until the bolt is in closed position.
3. Remove the parking brake shoe retaining spring.





4. Remove the parking brake shoe assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the parking brake shoe assembly.
2. Install the parking brake shoe retaining spring.
3. Adjust the parking brake shoe to drum clearance. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe / Adjustments.
4. Install the brake rotor.
