REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the roof lift off panel.

2. Remove the weatherstrip from the side retainer and from the first 150 mm (6 in) of the center retainer.

3. Remove the screws attaching the side retainer.
4. Remove the side retainer.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: A minimum of 2 mm (0.08 in) of sealing foam must extend beyond the ends of the retainer to prevent water leaks.

1. Install foam sealing tape to a reusable retainer or peel protective cover from the foam tape on a new retainer.
2. Position the retainer.

IMPORTANT: Stripped, broken, or improperly seated screws must be replaced or repaired to prevent water leaks.

3. Install the screws attaching the retainer.

Tighten
Tighten the roof weatherstrip retainer screws to 3.4 N.m (30 lb in).

4. Install the weatherstrip.
