Flywheel: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the engine flywheel bolts.
3. Remove the engine flywheel.
^ Inspect the engine flywheel for missing or loose converter to flywheel bolts. Tighten or replace as necessary.
^ Inspect the converter for damage, or missing balance weights. If the converter is damaged or the weights are missing, replace the converter.
^ If the engine flywheel is replaced, balance weights of the same size and weight must be installed.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the engine flywheel.
2. Install the engine flywheel bolts. Tighten the engine flywheel bolts to 100 Nm (74 lb ft).
3. Install the transmission.
