Standard Rear Axle Assembly:

Rear Axle Assembly With Traction Control (Acceleration Slip Regulation):

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Rear tires and wheels.
2. Propeller shaft.
3. Rear stabilizer shaft.
4. Support rear axle housing (16) with an adjustable lifting devise.
5. Rear shock absorbers.
6. Rear axle tie rod.
7. Rear brake (center) hose from rear brake hose junction block.
8. Rear springs.
9. Parking brake cables from rear axle housing.
10. Electrical connectors from rear wheel speed sensors, if equipped with disc brakes or connector from wheel speed sensor in rear axle housing (16), if equipped with drum brakes.
11. Rear axle torque arm.
12. Rear axle lower control arm.
13. Rear axle housing (16) with the aid of a helper.


INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Rear axle housing (16) with the aid of a helper.
2. Rear axle lower control arms.
3. Rear axle torque arm.
4. Electrical connectors to rear wheel speed sensors, if equipped with disc brakes or connector to wheel speed sensor in rear axle housing (16), if equipped with drum brakes.
5. Parking brake cables to rear axle housing.
6. Rear springs.
7. Rear brake (center) hose to rear brake hose junction block.
8. Rear axle tie rod.
9. Rear shock absorbers.
10. Remove lifting devise from rear axle housing.
11. Rear stabilizer shaft.
12. Propeller shaft.
13. Bleed brake system.
14. Rear tires and wheels.
