Coolant: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise and suitably support vehicle.
2. Open the radiator drain cock, and drain the- engine coolant from the radiator to below the level of the engine coolant level indicator module.
3. Lower vehicle.
4. Battery. See Starting and Charging.
5. Electrical connector at module.
6. Module from radiator.

INSTALLATION
1. Module to radiator.
a. Apply lubricant to O-ring.
b. Align coolant module to module port in radiator.
c. Press module probe into radiator module port housing until retainer spring snaps onto port flange.
2. Electrical connector to sensor.
3. Battery. See Starting and Charging.
4. Add engine coolant.
