Brake Proportioning/Combination Valve: Service and Repair

Brake Combination Valve And Brake Pressure Modulator Valve:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Brake pressure modulator from motor pack.
2. Brake combination valve bolts/screws and brake combination valve seals.
3. Brake combination valve.
4. Transfer tubes and transfer tube seals from combination valve. Clean All parts in clean, denatured alcohol. Dry with unlubricated; compressed air. Inspect All parts for wear. Replace as needed.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Transfer tube and transfer tube seals to combination valve. Lubricate new transfer tube seals with clean brake fluid.
2. Brake combination valve.
3. New combination valve seals and combination valve bolts/screws. Lubricate combination valve seals with clean brake fluid. Tighten Brake combination valve bolts/screws to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
4. Brake pressure modulator valve to motor pack.
