Hydraulic Assembly: Description and Operation

The TCS modulator/motor pack assembly controls drive wheel slip during acceleration by modulating brake pressure to the drive wheel brake calipers to prevent slip. The basic hydraulic modulator configuration consists of gear subassemblies, ball screws, nuts, pistons, and hydraulic poppet valves. The motor pack consists of two motors and two drive gears.
