With Traction Control
The standard brake system uses a single red BRAKE warning indicator located in the instrument panel cluster. The antilock brake system uses the red BRAKE warning indicator and an amber ABS warning indicator (ABS INOP). The traction control system uses the red BRAKE warning indicator and an amber Traction Control System (TCS) warning indicator Acceleration Slip Regulation (ASR). A amber ABS/TCS active indicator (LOW TRAC) is illuminated during an ABS or TCS event and for several seconds after the event is complete. Throughout this manual, the indicators will be referred to by their function, not by what is indicated on the instrument panel cluster.1. When the ignition is turned to the RUN position, the BRAKE, ABS warning, TCS warning, and ABS/TCS active indicators are turned on for approximately three seconds, then turn off.
2. As the engine is cranked, the BRAKE warning ABS warning, TCS warning, and the ABS/TCS active indicators will turn on and remain on.
3. After the engine is started, the BRAKE warning, ABS warning, TCS warning and the ABS/TCS active indicators will remain on for approximately three seconds, then turn off.
