Excessive Heat

The most likely cause of excessive heat from the heater system is a disconnected, mis-adjusted or non-functional temperature control cable. Refer to "Temperature Control Cable Adjustment" or "Temperature Control Cable." A hot air leak from the engine compartment to the blower inlet is also a remote possibility.
