General Description
The brake system uses a single red "BRAKE" warning lamp located in the instrument cluster. When the ignition switch is in the "START" position, the "BRAKE" warning lamp should come on. It should go off when the ignition switch returns to the "RUN" position. The following conditions will activate the "BRAKE" warning lamp:1. Parking brake applied. Lamp should be on when parking brake is applied and ignition switch is "ON."
2. Brake pressure differential warning switch detects failure.
3. During engine cranking "BRAKE" warning lamp should remain on. This notifies driver that circuit is operating properly.
