Console Replacement

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Place the ignition switch in the "RUN" position.
3. Place the shift lever m NEUTRAL."
4. Shift lever knob from the shift lever.
5. Front floor console transmission shift opening trim plate.
6. Front console bolts/screws (34).
7. Raise parking brake handle slightly.
8. Console (33) from vehicle.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions / Vehicle Damage Warnings / Fastener Requirements.

1. Console (33) to vehicle.
2. Lower parking brake handle.
3. Front console bolts/screws (34).
Tighten
^ Front floor console bolts/screws to 8 Nm (71 lb in).
4. Front floor console transmission shift opening trim plate.
5. Shift lever knob to shift lever.
6. Place the shift lever in PARK."
7. Place the ignition switch in the "OFF" position.
8. Negative battery cable.
Tighten
^ Negative battery cable to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
