Playing Multiple Compact Discs

To play a disc, the ignition lock cylinder must be in the "ACCESSORY" or "RUN" position and the stereo must be turned on. While the CD changer is checking the magazine for discs, the compact disc symbol will flash on the display until the changer is ready. When a disc begins to play, a disc and track number will be appear on the bottom left corner of the radio display.

"TAPE/AUX" or "TAPE/PLAY"
Press "TAPE/AUX" (Chevrolet) or "TAPE/PLAY" (Pontiac) to play a compact disc. Press "AM/FM" to return to radio or cassette play (only if a cassette is loaded in the tape player).

"RECALL"
Press "RECALL" to see current track number. Press "RECALL" again within five seconds to so time elapsed in current track on the display. The track number also appears when the disc is inserted.

"PROG"
Prees "PROG" to select the next disc in the CD changer. If "PROG" is held or pressed more than once, the changer will advance to more discs.

TO PLAY THE NEXT SELECTION
Press "NEXT" when you want to hear the next track now (before the present track is finished). if "NEXT" is held or pressed more than once, the disc will advance farther.

TO REPLAY CURRENT SELECTION
Press "PREV" to play a track again. If "PREY" is held or pressed more than once, the disc will return to previous tracks.

"SEEK"
Press "SEEK |>" (Chevrolet) or "SEEK "I"" (Pontiac) to start at the beginning of the track being played. Press "SEEK" or "SEEK V" again to go to the beginning of previous tracks. Press "SEEK" (Chevrolet) or "SEEK" (Pontiac) to advance to the beginning of the next track.

"FWD"
Press and hold "FWD" to quickly advance within a track. The track will be heard at reduced volume and the display will indicate elapsed time while advancing. Release "FWD" to resume play.

"REV"
Press and hold "REV" to quickly reverse within a track. The track will be heard at reduced volume and the display will indicate elapsed time while reversing. Release "REV" to resume play.

RANDOM
Press the "P.SCAN" to play the tracks of all loaded discs in random order. Press "P.SCAN" again to stop random play. "RANDOM" will appear on the radio display. If "SEEK" is pressed while "RANDOM" is displayed, disc and tracks will be scanned randomly.

EJECT
Slide the door on the multiple CD changer all the way open. The disc magazine will automatically eject.
^ Keep the door closed whenever possible to prevent dirt and dust from getting into the changer.
