Universal Garage Door Opener Programming Procedure

Overhead Console:

1. Hold down the two outside buttons on the UGDO until the red light begins to flash rapidly.
^ This procedure initializes the memory and erases any previous settings for all three channels.
2. Decide which of the three channels you want to program.
3. Hold the end of the hand-held transmitter against the bottom surface of the UGDO transmitter less than 13 mm (0.5 inch) so you can still see the red light.
4. Simultaneously press the hand-held transmitter button and the desired button on the UGDO opener. The UGDO LED will begin to flash slowly.
^ Hold both buttons until you see the red light on the UGDO flash first slowly then rapidly. This indicates that you have successfully program the transmitter. This could take up to a minute or more.
5. Release both buttons.
