PRODUCT CAMPAIGN 96-C-02 - INCORRECT ENGINE COOLANT CAUTION LABEL
Model and Year:
1995-96 CHEVROLET CORVETTE
To: All Chevrolet/Geo Dealers
General Motors has decided that certain 1995 and 1996 Chevrolet Corvette model vehicles may have been assembled with an incorrect caution label affixed to the radiator surge tank attachment bracket. The incorrect label contains inaccurate engine coolant information.
To correct this condition, owners of involved vehicles will be sent a new label. Since a new label can be easily installed, and to reduce owner inconvenience, owners will be provided instructions to allow them to correct this condition themselves. However, if they desire, owners are being given the option to have the label installed by their dealer at no charge.
