AIR Check Valve and Pipes Replacement

Removal Procedure

Notice: Numbers in text correspond to component numbers in image.

1. Remove the clamps and Secondary Air Injection (AIR) hoses from the AIR system right pipe (1).
2. Remove the right check valve pipe (1).
3. Unscrew the check valve (2) from the AIR pipe (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Screw the check valve (2) onto the AIR pipe (1). Tighten the check valve to 23 Nm (17 lb ft).
2. Connect the right check valve pipe (1).
3. Install the hose and clamp to the check valve (2).
4. Check the AIR system for proper operation.
