Radiator: Service and Repair

Fig. 24 Radiator Upper Support Removal:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain coolant from radiator.
3. Remove upper radiator support, Fig. 24.
4. Disconnect radiator inlet and outlet hoses at radiator.
5. On models equipped with automatic transmission, disconnect transmission oil cooler lines at radiator.
6. On all models, remove radiator from vehicle.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque automatic transmission oil cooler lines to 20 ft. lbs.
b. Check and fill engine coolant and transmission fluid levels.
