Chart I "ASR OFF" Indicator Always "ON":

CHART TEST DESCRIPTION
Number(s) below refer to circled number(s) on the diagnostic chart.
1. Confirms that a malfunction condition exists.
2. Checks whether the malfunction is due to a DTC setting condition.
3. Determines whether the malfunction is due to an indicator low side circuit short to ground or an EBTCM internal circuit malfunction.
4. Determines whether the extended "ON" time of the indicator is due to an "ASR OFF" input to the EBTCM or an EBTCM circuit malfunction.
5. Checks for a short to ground in CKT 1571.
