CHART TEST DESCRIPTION

Number(s) below refer to circled number(s) on the diagnostic chart.
1. Confirms that a malfunction condition exists.
2. Checks if the malfunction is due to a DTC setting condition.
3. Determines whether the malfunction is due to an indicator low side circuit short to ground or an EBTCM circuit malfunction.
4. Checks for damage to the shorting bar in the EBTCM and/or EBTCMharness connector.
