Intermediate Servo Apply Pin Length Check

^ Tools Required:
- J 28535 Intermediate Band Apply Pin Gage





1. Install the intermediate servo apply pin (129) from the disassembled servo into the case intermediate servo bore.
2. Install the J 28535 onto the case (15). Position the tool pin on top of the servo pin (129).





3. Using a torque wrench, tighten J 28535.
- Tighten J 28535 to 11 Nm (100 inch lbs.).
4. Look for the white line to appear in the window:
- If the white line appears in the window, the pin length is correct
- If the white line appears above the window, the pin is too short
- If the white line appears below the window, the pin is too long
5. Select the correct pin (129) from the servo apply pin chart below.
6. Repeat the test procedure in order to verify the correct pin selection.
7. Remove J28535.
