Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair

EVAP Solenoid And Vacuum Switch:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the electrical connector
2. Disconnect the hoses (4) from the solenoid valve (1).
3. Remove the bracket and solenoid (1) from the intake manifold (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the solenoid valve (1) to the intake manifold (2).

Tighten
Fastener to 5.8 Nm (52 lb. in).

2. Connect the electrical connector to the solenoid valve (1).
3. Connect the hoses to the solenoid valve (1).
