This bulletin is being revised to provide updated parts information on the steering wheel. This information updates and replaces the previous bulletin which is no longer in effect. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 63-32-03 (Section 3 - Steering/Suspension).
New steering wheels have been released for the 1994 to 1996 Chevrolet Caprice, for improved durability and strength. Also, the availability of two designs eliminates the need to replace the SIR module (air bag) if a new steering wheel is needed for 1994 to early 1995 models.
For 1994 to early 1995 models, which have the original air bag design (one bugle on the pad), use the following part numbers:

For late 1995 to 1996 models, or for 1994 to early 1995 vehicles which have had the original wheel and air bag replaced (two bugles on the pad), use the following part numbers:
