Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

A.I.R. System:

Electric Air Pump:

REMOVAL

1. Remove negative battery cable.
2. Remove hoses and electrical connections from pump. Then remove the mounting bolts and pump.
3. Loosen inlet silencer clamp.
4. Remove electric air pump and pump mounting bolts.

INSTALLATION

1. Install pump and tighten mounting bolts. Install hoses and electrical connections.
2. Connect negative battery cable.
3. Check A.I.R. system operation.
