Hydraulic Modulator Valve

The hydraulic modulator (also known as brake pressure modulator (BPM)) is located on the front lefthand side of the engine compartment, provides brake fluid modulation for each individual wheel circuit as required during anti-lock braking. During anti-lock braking, the modulator can maintain or reduce brake fluid pressure independent of the pressure generated in the master cylinder.
