Dual Exhaust

Exhaust Component Installation:

Catalyst Configuration:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle and support catalytic converter.
2. Cut front exhaust pipe at the converter as shown in the figure. Cut as close to the weld as possible.
3. Bolts from intermediate exhaust pipe to converter.




INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Clamps to replacement converter.
2. Converter.
3. Intermediate exhaust pipe end bolts to converter.
^ Torque clamp nuts to 50 N-m (37 lbs. ft.).
^ Torque bolts to converter to 47 N-m (35 lbs. ft.).
4. Lower vehicle.
