Radiator: Service and Repair
RADIATOR
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Air cleaner assembly including mounting stud and air cleaner duct.
2. Negative battery cable.
3. Engine coolant. Service and Repair
4. Coolant reservoir.
5. Engine strut brace bolts from upper tie bar and rotate struts and braces rearward.
IMPORTANT: To prevent shearing of rubber bushings loosen bolts on engine struts before swinging struts.
6. Air intake resonator mounting nut.
7. Upper radiator mounting panel bolts and clamps.
8. Electrical connectors from fan(s).
9. Upper radiator mounting panel with cooling fan(s) attached.
10. Clamps from upper and lower hoses at radiator.
11. Low coolant sensor electrical connector and sensor.
12. Transaxle oil cooler lines from radiator.
13. Radiator.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Radiator to lower insulator pads.
TRANSFER PARTS
If replacing the radiator, transfer the following:
^ All Fittings.
2. Transaxle oil cooler lines to radiator, if used.
3. Low coolant sensor electrical connector and sensor.
4. Upper and lower hoses with clamps to radiator.
5. Upper radiator mounting panel with cooling fan(s) attached.
6. Electrical connectors to fan(s).
7. Upper radiator mounting panel bolts and clamps.
TIGHTEN
^ Bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
8. Air intake resonator mounting nut.
9. Coolant reservoir.
10. Swing engine strut(s) to proper position.
11. Refill coolant. Service and Repair
12. Negative battery cable.
13. Air cleaner assembly.
