1991 "F" style vehicles built after the following VIN breakpoint will use a new type front door glass retainer assembly.

The new part combines the vertical weatherstrip and plastic panel (used on earlier styles) into a single component.
If service of these parts is required, it is recommended that the part be replaced with the type part with which it was built.
Example
- Past models prior to the 1992 VIN breakpoint, use the early type multi piece retainer.
- Models built after the VIN breakpoint, use new components.
