Component Heating

The following components require heating prior to assembly:

1. Race (6) and (40), gear assembly (3) and electronic speedometer gear (72), must be heated for approximately 7-10 minutes at 250° F.

2. Mechanical speedometer gear (71) must be heated for approximately 5 minutes in hot tap water.

3. Gear cluster (37) must be heated for a minimum of 20 minutes at 250° F.
