Oil Pump: Service and Repair

1. Remove oil pan as previously described.
2. Remove pump to rear main bearing cap bolt, then the pump and extension shaft.
3. Remove extension shaft and retainer.
4. Reverse procedure noting the following:
a. Heat retainer in hot water prior to assembling extension shaft.
b. Torque oil pump bolt to 32 ft. lbs.
