Intake Air Plenum: Service and Repair

1. Relieve fuel system pressure as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELIEF.
2. Remove air cleaner assembly.
3. Disconnect battery ground cable and drain cooling system.
4. Remove control cables at throttle body.
5. Disconnect fuel rail cover bolts and remove fuel pipes at fuel rail.
6. Disconnect heater hose at intake manifold.
7. Disconnect vacuum lines from PVC valve and throttle body of plenum.
8. Disconnect AIR solenoid, EGR valve, canister purge solenoid, MAP sensor and throttle position sensor connectors.
9. Remove EGR bolts and EGR valve.
10. Disconnect fuel line bracket and heater hose at throttle body of plenum.
11. Disconnect all necessary vacuum lines at plenum.
12. Remove wire loom bracket for rear bank of spark plug wires.
13. Remove nuts at plenum and plenum bracket.
14. Remove plenum from vehicle.
15. Reverse procedure to install.
