Intake Manifold (Upper)

INTAKE PLENUM

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Air cleaner.
2. Drain coolant.
3. Control cables at throttle body of upper plenum.
4. Fuel rail cover bolts.
5. Fuel rail cover.
6. Fuel pipes at fuel rail.
7. Heater hose at lower intake manifold.
8. PCV valve and vacuum line at throttle body of upper plenum.
9. Electrical Connectors:
^ AIR solenoid.
^ EGR valve.
^ Throttle position sensor.
10. EGR bolts.
11. EGR valve at plenum.
^ Set aside.
12. Fuel line bracket at throttle body of plenum.
13. Loosen throttle body heater hose clamp at plenum.
14. Electrical connectors:
^ Canister purge solenoid.
^ Map sensor.
15. Vacuum hoses at vacuum tee on plenum.
16. Wiring loom bracket for rear bank spark plug wires.
17. Nuts at plenum support bracket.
18. Intake plenum bolts.
19. Intake plenum.

CLEAN
^ Gasket material from mating surfaces.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Intake plenum.
2. Intake plenum bolts. Tighten bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb. ft.)
3. Nuts at plenum support bracket. Tighten nuts to 25 Nm (18 lb. ft.).
4. Wiring loom bracket for rear bank spark plug wires.
5. Vacuum hoses at vacuum tee on plenum.
6. Electrical connectors:
^ Canister purge solenoid.
^ Map sensor.
7. Tighten throttle body heater hose clamp at plenum.
8. Fuel line bracket at throttle body of plenum.
9. EGR valve at plenum.
10. EGR bolts.
11. Electrical connectors:
^ AIR solenoid.
^ EGR valve.
^ Throttle position sensor.
12. PCV valve and vacuum line at throttle body of plenum.
13. Heater hose at lower intake manifold.
14. Fuel pipes at fuel rail.
15. Fuel rail cover.
16. Fuel rail cover bolts.
17. Control cables at throttle body of plenum.
18. Refill coolant.
19. Air cleaner.
